Despensa
Marketplace built to bring neighbourhood commerce into the digital world — letting butchers, bakeries, fish markets and other local businesses publish their catalogue, sell online and gain visibility without losing their sense of proximity.

Despensa was built to bring neighbourhood commerce into the digital world, letting butchers, bakeries, fish markets and other local businesses publish their catalogue, sell online and gain visibility without losing their sense of proximity.

The idea was to give these shops a simple way to adapt to new consumption habits without having to give up what made them valuable — trust, proximity and a direct relationship with their customers. More than a generic marketplace, Despensa was conceived as a platform able to translate part of the local-commerce experience into a digital environment, helping small businesses compete with greater visibility and connect with their community from a more accessible, current and scalable format.

The last step of a marketplace decides whether you buy or close the tab. Despensa makes that step as un-digital as possible: basically, your shopkeeper's counter.
Product page
Your butcher's burger, bought as if you walked into his shop.
The product page closes the flow with a deliberately simple design: the product image on the left, the shop's name above the title — «Carnicería Vicent · Beef Burger» —, a very visible quantity selector, the unit price and a VAT-inclusive total. Below, double green CTA: «Buy» and «Add to cart», along with PayPal, Visa, Mastercard and Amex logos. No tricks, no cross-sell, no fake urgency — just what's needed to take something from the neighbourhood home.
