Nonna
Minimalist designer lamp built as both a functional and artistic piece, which drew interest from the United Nations.
Nonna was designed as a lamp where lighting met a minimalist, contemporary aesthetic. The proposal stood out for its attention to detail, choice of materials and the visual atmosphere created by light, aiming to convey calm, balance and sophistication. Beyond its function, it was developed as a decorative and architectural object meant to bring personality and identity to high-end interiors — equally at home in modern and institutional spaces. The project drew international attention and reached the United Nations, where they considered incorporating the lamp into some of their offices because of its design, aesthetic presence and adaptability to representative environments. Nonna stands for the meeting point between industrial design, creativity and aesthetic sensitivity, exploring how everyday objects can become meaningful elements within a space.
