Try On

Virtual fashion try-on powered by generative AI: see a garment on your body before buying, without it looking like a gimmick.

With Try On we explored how augmented reality and AI could be naturally integrated into fashion e-commerce to improve the buying decision. The idea was to let users virtually try on items that brands had already published on their own websites, without leaving the shopping experience and without depending on a physical fitting room. More than adding a flashy effect, we wanted to solve a very real friction of the online channel: the difficulty of imagining how a garment will look on your own body before buying it.

The challenge wasn't only technical, it was above all about trust: making the result look close enough to the user that the digital try-on felt credible, useful and genuinely capable of shaping the final decision. To achieve that, we designed a very short onboarding that captured the necessary references in under a minute to generate a personalised visualisation, and a result screen where the garment could be seen on the user's body with different adjustments before being added to the cart.

The product was conceived as a layer that brands could plug into their e-commerce, with a flexible system that respected their visual identity and let them upload items at scale to activate this experience directly inside their online catalogues. Overall, the proposal aimed to bring the digital experience closer to the logic of a traditional fitting room, but adapted to a much more agile, accessible and scalable environment for brands and users.
